Who We Are

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization recognizing academic and professional excellence in accounting, finance, and information systems, with over 300 chapters and more than 300,000 members initiated worldwide.

Our Mission

Beta Alpha Psi encourages and recognizes scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field by promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, and information systems. The organization fosters ethical, social, and public responsibility while providing opportunities for leadership, service, professional development, and meaningful connections between students and practicing professionals.

The Sigma Chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, established in 1932, remains an active, student-led organization that hosts professional, social, and skill-building events each semester.
